A student fell from the second floor balcony of The Palmerton apartment complex early this morning. The estimated fall was approximately 16 feet, according to the State College Police Department.
"The Paternos were on a first-name basis with everyone in town -- Joe even knew the cheerleaders' names. They built a library -- giving $3 million of their own money," McKenna said. A student died at approximately 3:43 this morning after he fell off the balcony on the ninth floor of Penn Tower, the State College Police Department confirmed.
