The Penn State basketball team didn't have much go their way on Saturday as they suffered a deflating loss to St. Joe's 65-47 in a game that was never really in reach.

The Penn State basketball team played their third game in five days Wednesday night, and improved their record to 5-1 by defeating Youngstown State. Over the weekend, Penn State finished their final two games in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament, splitting the series with two contrasting performances.

David Joyner, who was named as the new acting athletic director earlier this week, was introduced to the media this morning during an on-campus press conference. Joyner has served on the Board of Trustees for more than a decade, and he was also an All-American football player and wrestler when he was a student at Penn State.
