The best heavyweight high school wrestler is coming to the best college wrestling program in the country.

Top ranked heavyweight Nick Nevills from Clovis, California, verbally committed to the three-time defending champs last night. Nevills completed a perfect 53-0 season during his junior year, including 44 pins, and committed to Penn State in 2014 over teams like Ohio State, Stanford, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State.

Three Vie for BOT Vice Chair

Three Penn State trustees have declared their interest to run for the Board of Trustees Vice Chair position at next week's meeting. Trustees Ryan McCombie, Paul Silvus, and Linda Strumpf will run to replace current VP Stephanie Deviney, who lost her reelection bid in May.
