Penn State's Wind Energy Club defended its title as National Collegiate Wind Competition champions after a dominant victory in New Orleans last week.
The Rock Ethics Institute, a branch of the College of the Liberal Arts, appointed Ted Toadvine as its new director earlier this month. Toadvine, who will come to Penn State from the University of Oregon, will take over the new role in the beginning of 2017.
An ESPN '30 for 30' short featured legendary alumnus Wally Triplett yesterday and told the story of his football career at Penn State as well as the story of the 2013 Class Gift, the We Are Statue. Triplett is now 90 years old and battling health issues, and his family is calling on the Penn State community to support him.
