Good afternoon from Beaver Stadium where the Penn State Nittany Lions (3-2) are set to face the Michigan Wolverines (5-0) in a primetime homecoming clash. We have all of the media information and coverage you need for today's game.

"The student section was definitely the first star tonight," head coach Guy Gadowsky said after the Nittany Lions defeated Army 4-1 in the Pegula Ice Arena opener.

This day has been in the making since Terry Pegula -- oil tycoon, Buffalo Sabres owner, and Penn State alumnus -- donated $88 million to the university in 2010 to fund the arena that was later given his name. The 6,000-seat arena was to be the home for the Penn State men's and women's hockey program when the teams moved up to Division I. Pegula's dream becomes a reality tonight when the Nittany Lions take the ice at Pegula for the first time.

In what has become a budding rivalry, Penn State will face the Michigan Wolverines under the lights at Beaver Stadium and on national television tomorrow starting at 5 p.m. The teams have faced each other 16 times with Michigan leading the series 10-6. The last time they played was in 2010 as Penn State won 41-31.
