Former Borough Council President Don Han announced this evening he will run for State College mayor in this year's election. He previously served on the board for 12 years, including two years as president.
Penn State released a statement today promising Greek life will undergo significant changes in light of the death of student Timothy Piazza. Piazza passed away Saturday morning at Hershey Medical Center as a result of traumatic injuries sustained Thursday night when he fell down the basement steps at Beta Theta Pi fraternity.
The Interfraternity Council is hosting a candlelight vigil on Old Main this Sunday to honor Timothy Piazza, a Penn State sophomore whose life was cut tragically short last Thursday.
The annual Blue-White game will kick off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22. The game will also air live on the Big Ten Network, unlike last year.
