An ESPN '30 for 30' short featured legendary alumnus Wally Triplett yesterday and told the story of his football career at Penn State as well as the story of the 2013 Class Gift, the We Are Statue. Triplett is now 90 years old and battling health issues, and his family is calling on the Penn State community to support him.

An increase in accepted offers of admission and the inadequacies of LionPATH bring a larger-than-expected incoming freshman class to University Park. The university is getting creative with housing initiatives, including a "1+3" opportunity for students in which they spend their first year at a Commonwealth campus to receive financial aid and lowered tuition.

The petition, aimed at killing LionPATH until it is sufficiently ready to be rolled out, has more than 1,000 supporters.
