In light of the recent cyberattacks on Penn State's College of Engineering and College of the Liberal Arts, the university has launched a new department: the Office of Information Security.
Penn State men's soccer began conference play on a high note against No. 10 Indiana on Sunday afternoon. Coming off of a dominant 2-0 victory against James Madison, the Nittany Lions showcased strength, speed, and incredible goaltending to shut out Indiana 1-0. With the takedown of host Notre Dame, the top-ranked Lions move to 8-0, with every win having come by way of sweep.
The offensive line provided Hackenberg with a comfortable cushion all game, and kept Buffalo from registering a single sack. The unit displayed poise, and showed signs that it was finally beginning to gel -- all without the help of Andrew Nelson, who left the game after being injured seconds before halftime.
In an otherwise standard win, true freshman running back Saquon Barkley emerged as one of Penn State's most fun players to watch.
Talk about a turn-around. After a deflating 27-10 loss in the season-opener last Saturday at Temple, Penn State was better in every facet today, allowing zero sacks in the home-opening win.
