
Despite outplaying the number two team in the nation for the majority of the game, Penn State dropped its fifth straight game last night to Boston College 3-2. The Nittany Lions now move to 4-15-1 on the year, which probably makes them the best fifteen loss team in the country as Penn State is 3-7 in one goal games.

Penn State defeated Illinois wrestling 31-3 on Friday night in Rec Hall. Nico Megaludis defeated rival Jesse Delgado 5-4.

This morning, it was announced that Nittany Lion forward David Glen will miss this Saturday's game against no. 2 Boston College as well as next weekend's series against Ohio State to donate bone marrow to an anonymous recipient through the Be the Match program.

Remember Code Blue? Neither do we. In an effort to reenergize the students rewards world, Penn State released the We Are! app, a loyalty rewards system to replace the former and grossly underutilized fan loyalty program. The goal is to generate interest around some of Penn State's non-revenue sports teams and reward students for attending games. The app was not widely publicized -- which was probably Code Blue's ultimate fate -- but it has recently been advertised in the Bryce Jordan Center during basketball games.

The Penn State men's basketball team earned their first conference victory last night, defeating Nebraska 58-54.
