
Around 100,000 fans will pack Beaver Stadium this Saturday as Penn State takes on Eastern Michigan in the home opener. Most will show up Saturday morning, but some students just can't wait that long.

DaQuan Jones was a standout football and basketball player at Johnson City High School in 2009 when he was recruited by Joe Paterno. Jones was ranked the No. 2 offensive lineman in the state by Rivals back then, but he now looks to be one of the best defensive linemen in the country.

Nittanyville, the tent village outside Gate A of Beaver Stadium, is the easiest way to secure the best seats for every football game. Students camp out days in advance just to be some of the first fans inside the stadium. This community, filled with pep rallies, guest visits, and (sometimes) free food, starts tonight at 9 p.m. for the first campout of the year.

Bill O'Brien announced at his Tuesday press conference that tight end Matt Lehman is out for the season. Lehman suffered a knee injury on Saturday against Syracuse before being carted off the field. He did not elaborate on the specifics of the injury.
