Former Penn State defensive coordinator Bob Shoop is being sued by his previous employer for nearly $900,000 worth of damages he owes after leaving his contract with two years to spare in favor of the Tennessee defensive coordinator position.
All-purpose back Ricky Slade and wide receiver Justin Shorter have put on a show at Nike's World Campus in Beaverton, Ore.
"The NCAA's implication that the litigation was ceased out of a fear of discovery being revealed is absurd on its face. At every stage of this litigation we have sought to make a complete record available. As recently as three weeks ago, the NCAA successfully kept the evidence in this matter under seal."
“Keeping James at Penn State for a long, successful tenure is a priority," Barbour said in a statement. "We will announce these details when appropriate.”
Four-star prospect Solomon Enis, son of Penn State great Curtis Enis, on Friday told PennLive's Daniel Gallen, "Franklin signed a new five-year deal so he's going to be there a minute while I'm there."

We have done all we can in this litigation to achieve that end and the furtherance of it beyond this point will not yield anything new, which is why I have decided to end my litigation with the NCAA," Paterno said in the statement.
