Celebrate 100 Days ’til THON 2015 Tomorrow

It’s that day of the year again: the day we start officially counting down in the double-digits for the biggest and best party of the year! This Wednesday, November 12th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in HUB Heritage Hall, THON student-volunteers will all culminate together to celebrate 100 days until THON Weekend.

President Barron Holds First Town Hall

There was a time about three years ago when Rodney Erickson promised to host a town hall forum with students at least once every semester during his tenure as president. To my recollection, with the exception of one semester, Erickson kept that promise. His successor Eric Barron is picking up where he left off, holding the first town hall of his tenure last night at the Hintz Alumni Center.

New NCAA Emails Reveal PR Was A Motivation for Penn State Sanctions

More internal NCAA emails were released today as part of a 325-page filing in State Sen. Jake Corman’s lawsuit, displaying the organization’s very careful media strategy in levying its Penn State sanctions to avoid bad publicity and more skepticism over the sanctions’ appropriateness.
