
The State College community will gather tonight at 5 p.m. in front of the Municipal Building for the annual Menorah lighting ceremony and Chanukah celebration.

The awards keep rolling in for the Nittany Lions, as Bill O'Brien was selected as the AT&T ESPN Coach of the Year, and Michael Mauti was named to the ESPN All-American team as of Saturday night.

This afternoon, Penn State held off a second half rally by Army to win 78-70. The Nittany Lions had four players reach double figures in scoring as they improved to 5-4 on the season.

The Diversity Awareness Task Force was formed, holding its first meeting last night, with about 30 students in attendance. The meeting was mostly organizational as the task force wanted to establish the essentials of the diversity issue at Penn State, the best ways to tackle those problems, and what committee breakdowns would be best fitted to handle them.

Football Saturdays at Beaver Stadium migh be over until next fall, but the 2012 senior class will be at the Bryce Jordan Center tomorrow afternoon for an autograph session before Penn State Basketball faces Army.
