Wrestling Team to Open Season with Intrasquad Dual

The Penn State wrestling team is in search of its third straight national championship this season. Tonight will be its annual intrasquad dual at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall, which is free and open to the public. The first regular season dual will take place on November 16th against Lehigh University at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall.

Senator Bob Casey To Visit State College Tomorrow

Tomorrow morning, U.S Senator Bob Casey Jr. will be making an appearance at the Corner Room where he will will meet with supporters and the public. Casey is set to arrive at 11 a.m. Sen. Casey, from Scranton Pa. has served in the Senate since 2006 after a victory over Rick Santorum and is running for reelection against Tom Smith, a republican from Armstrong County and founder of a Tea Party group called the Indiana and Armstrong Patriots. Prior to entering politics this year, Smith worked for decades as a coal miner and later owner of a successful coal mining business.
