Penn State senior forward Eric Scheid has signed an amateur tryout agreement with the AHL's Portland Pirates. The Penn State star ends his four-year college career with 92 points, 44 goals, and 48 assists. Scheid will now continue his hockey career with the Florida Panthers' AHL affiliate.

She's the First has made its way to campus. She's the First is a non-profit organization that helps provide girls in low-income countries with an education, and Penn State just opened its own chapter.

After a very back-and-forth game, Penn State came out victorious in a battle with West Virginia and took its third consecutive victory 5-4.

"Since we're (Lamb)da Chi, we tried to get a pet lamb as a mascot," Alex Buckley explained. "But it turns out goats make better pets."

Ferguson Township Police are investigating the death of a 23-year old Penn State student. The department said there were no signs of foul play and a preliminary investigation indicated the death may be substance-related.
