Continuing the trend of great and generally underrated bands coming to Alumni Hall, indie-pop group Smallpools rocked the HUB on Friday night, giving fans a high-energy show to start the weekend off right.

Relay For Life decided Thursday to move this year's event inside the HUB because of the cold and snowy weather forecast.

The Earth Mineral Science Museum's new exhibit gives visitors a new way to learn just how exactly topographical maps work. "The mission was to build a modern interactive exhibit that is both entertaining and educational," said Ken Mankoff, a research associate through Penn State's Department of Geosciences.
