
No. 1 Roman Bravo-Young, No. 1 Nick Lee, No. 1 Carter Starocci, No. 2 Aaron Brooks, and No. 1 Max Dean all took the mat in this championship session and emerged as title-winners.

While No. 4 Greg Kerkvliet took home fourth place due to a forfeit, Penn State wrestling still clinched the team championship title Saturday morning.

"Not too damn bad to clinch the 2022 NCAA Wrestling Championships and the finals are still hours away!"

Penn State has now won a whopping nine national championships since head coach Cael Sanderson took over the team in 2010.

Other than Greg Kerkvliet, all of Penn State's semifinalists secured spots in Saturday night's championship round.

After finishing in first place Thursday, Penn State wrestling continued to dominate with six wrestlers qualifying for semifinals.
