Leaving Penn State was tough. I made so many memories in Happy Valley that it was a difficult transition to go through. Though I lived up all four years I spent at PSU, I can't help but occasionally think, "Why did I ever leave?" I thought I'd reflect on my current life and college life and give some advice to those of you who still have time at PSU.
Penn State's coaching staff is once again complete as the hiring of Anthony Midget as safeties coach was officially announced this morning. Midget comes to Happy Valley after spending five seasons with Georgia State University.
Penn State will again look to register their first conference win of the season tonight at the Bryce Jordan Center when Iowa comes to town for a 9 p.m. tip on ESPNU. With the game being played on the eve of THON, Penn State head coach Pat Chambers has pledged to donate $10 to the Four Diamonds Fund for every Penn State student who attends the game. Additionally, it will also be another dollar dog night.
It's Wednesday night. Your girlfriend said she was totally fine with just skipping the whole "Valentine's Day" thing this year. You were pretty convinced, but today you caught a depressed look in her eyes as she watched all her friends brag about their plans for tomorrow night while stuffing $20 chocolates into their smug faces. Wait a second. What if your girlfriend lied? Shit.
The snow may have been coming down, but that didn't stop UPUA from having a busy and (unfortunately) long evening. With candidate registration starting in a week, UPUA really had to kick it into gear this week in order to get ready for the upcoming election season.
