Gameday Coverage: Penn State vs Minnesota

Welcome back to gameday, Penn State!

The Lions come off a blowout loss to Michigan at the Big House in search of a must needed conference victory against the 3-0 Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Lions have significant injuries to all linebacker positions, but need to find a way to keep the Gophers at bay.

Here’s all the media information you’ll need to tune into today’s action!

Kickoff

Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. eastern time.

Today’s game will be broadcasted on BTN.

Weather

According to Accuweather, temperature around kickoff will hover around 58 degrees, making for a chillier gameday afternoon than we’ve had all year.

Last Time They Met

The Golden Gophers won the last contest between the two programs 24-10 in 2013 during Christian Hackenberg’s freshman year.

Injuries

Linebacker Jason Cabinda’s status is out, as are position mates Brandon Bell and Nyeem Wartman-White. Expect Manny Bowen to start again alongside Brandon Smith and Jake Cooper. Wide receiver Saeed Blacknall’s status is questionable, as is cornerback Grant Haley’s.
