First The Daily Collegian, and now Onward State. Really, Penn State?

The alumni group gathered more than 350 petition signatures to dissent the proposal but the $225,000 slash is irreversible.

The last time the Collegian decided not to print a daily newspaper was during World War II, when it operated as a weekly and semi-weekly publication from 1943 to 1946.

Due to an emergency paper shortage in Centre County resulting from a rapid increase in Daily Collegian circulation, Mount Nittany will be clear cut so that students can continue reading the treasured newspaper.

It was only two short months ago when I had to swallow my pride and give kudos to The Daily Collegian. Well, here we go again...
