Find Tomorrow: The THON Song. It’s Coming

turntableThe local State College music group Audio Imagery‘s name might sound more like a music producing software than a band, but they’re certainly cooking up something. They have set up an ominous website, complete with a ticking clock counting down to the release of their new song “Find Tomorrow”. Whoop de damn do, right? Bands release new songs all the time, so what’s the big deal?

Well this song, ladies and gentlemen, is about everyone’s favorite student-run philanthropic organization: THON.

In an email, Audio Imagery described their history and motivation behind the project:

Audio Imagery has been making music in State College since 2003 and has recently been in major national competitions, playing at world famous venues and receiving national airplay. Over the years we have received a great deal of support from the borough of State College and Penn State and now we would like to give something back to the community.

Find Tomorrow will be released in about 3 weeks on November 15. It will be available to purchase on the previously-linked findtomorrow.com as well as iTunes. A “large percentage” of the money raised will even be donated to THON, so you’d have to be bonkers to pass up this deal!

I, for one, am anxiously awaiting this project, so I will be listening to that foreboding “tick…tock…” on the Find Tomorrow site nonstop for the next 3 weeks.
