Blue Loop, Green Link Buses to be Detoured

Some of you might have noticed late last week that there was a bizarre increase in the number of CATA buses running along Burrowes Road, most notably the appearance of Blue Loops where they historically haven’t been. Due to construction on the corner of College Ave. and Atherton Street, CATA will be rerouting the buses that normally run north on Atherton Street up Burrowes Street.

Therefore, the Blue Loop, P, and H routes will make the right turn up Burrowes from College and stop at the Deike Building across from Rec Hall before making a right turn onto Curtin and resuming normal routing. The V and N buses will turn up Burrowes, stop at Deike and Rec Hall, and make the left turn onto the Curtin Extension before resuming normal routing.

The Green Link, however, will have the most unique change. The Link, coming from Borrowes Road, will turn right on College Avenue, make a left on Atherton Street, a left on Beaver Avenue, a left on Burrowes Road, and a right on Curtin Road, where it will resume normal routing.

The A, B, C, F, G, K, M, NV, R, S, UT, W, X, Red Link, and White Loop Routes will not be affected by the detours.

Normal service will return on May 1.

Three Words: For the Glory

When I sat back one night in January thinking about my time at Penn State, I tried to come up with a single word that would adequately describe my experiences here. As I attempted to determine what that magic word might be, my mind began to grasp the absurdity of that challenge. How could I possibly distill four years of my life, countless friendships, and untold numbers of memories, down to a single word? An impossible task to be sure. So instead, I took the easier road and went with three words: For the Glory.
