Big Ten Expansion Update

UPDATE 7:31pm: The Associated Press is reporting that Jim Delany, Big Ten Commissioner, sent out an email today to athletic directors informing them that the rumors about offers to join the conference are false.

The Presidents and Chancellors of the respective Big Ten universities will be descending upon Chicago the first week in June. The topic of discussion? Expansion.

ESPN and WHB Radio are reporting that invitations have gone out to 4 schools to join our amazing conference. The reported shortlist of schools:

  • Notre Dame (duh.)
  • Rutgers (Get that NYC Money!!!)
  • Nebraska (PSU rivalry game in the works? see here.)
  • Missouri (A solid team no doubt, but more ideal for an Illini war trophy.)

Of the four, who will accept? How many will we take? What’s your pick? Anyone you wish was on the list?

PSU Cadets to Teach Air Force a Thing or Two

This past year under the leadership of Colonel Steven Drago, the Penn State Detachment of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) developed a new way to teach Air Power doctrine and air superiority theory.
