Around the Big Ten – Week Two

Week Two has come and gone and Michigan Virginia Tech still sucks. As Rece Davis put it, that was “the best thing James Madison had done since writing the Federalist Papers.” Moving on…

Ohio State survives the Hurricane(s), wins rematch with Miami 36-24
Terrelle Pryor reverts to his old form, completing less than 50% of his passes and winning the game with his legs. As much as I hate to admit it, he’s a cryer. Oops I mean whiner. Oops I mean winner.

Denard Robinson does his best Pryor impression and is much better at it
Michigan continues to impress as Robinson sets the Big Ten QB single-game rushing record and scores the game-winner in a win over Notre Dame.

Why can’t these cupcake games end? They suck and make me hungry
Illinois, Northwestern and Purdue all beat up on FCS teams while Iowa, Michigan State and Wisconsin beat up on the cellar-dwellers of Division I-A. And because of this, you get Big Ten Network recaps. Talk to each school’s AD to fix this.

Tim Brewster spent too much time eating cupcakes; Minny loses to FCS opponent South Dakota 41-38
So, does anyone think this is a still a trap game for Penn State? Hell, this wouldn’t even be a trap game for State High.
