In Onward State's never-ending quest for blogging excellence, we've decided to open the floor to the people of matter most, our readers, and ask for your suggestions on how you would like us to improve. I'm asking you to look deep down inside, down to what you care most about, critique your criticisms, and let us know what needs work.
Your suggestions can be about our website design, our Twitter and Facebook accounts, our level of snarkitude, our use of oxford commas... Anything is fair game.
So, my dear readers, I ask, "if you were in my position, how would you change Onward State?"
Hide your kids, hide your wife, Antoine Dodson is coming (or at least some people hope) to Penn State. According to a Facebook event page, the "Bring Antoine Dodson to Penn State" campaign could prove successful.
"Have you read my blog?" As a man who prides himself in his own web posts, I'm sure Barney Stinson would support our efforts here at Onward State. Now it's time to suit up and practice those cliche one-liners because Swarlos, Marshmallow, Lily, Robin Sparkles, and Teddy Westside are back for round six.
The Big Ten had a banner day on Saturday; there was something for everyone. Our Nittany Lions pitched a shut out, games were won on blocked kicks and fake kicks, and a Big Ten quarterback not named Pryor kept his Heisman campaign rolling. If only the early hours of Sunday were as kind to coaches and teams alike.
This past Friday, September 17, Penn State's Board of Trustees convened at the Nittany Lion Inn for its first meeting of the 2010-2011 school year.
The Penn State women's volleyball team started a new winning streak this past weekend after dominating their competition in the Rockvale Outlets Classic held here at Penn State.
