Two Band Bash Winners Offered Chance to Play THON

Last night’s THON Band Bash had twice the usual number of winners.

5 Cherry Lewis and Dave Joyce and the Slow Pitch Band were both named winners of the six band competition. THON Band Captain Kevin Swanson explained to the Collegian that the decision was simply too hard to make. The bands join 9 other performers scheduled for the 46-hour event (with line dances and the sweet jams of Larry Moore filling providing additional music).

We’re especially pumped to see Onward State’s original Natty Nittany, Tim Vitullo, performing with the Slow Pitch Band.
