“Five OUTS” for Community Facing an On-Campus Active Shooter

Penn State Human Resource Development Center (HRDC), along with University Police and the Penn State Risk Management Office, has created a one-hour-long program that provides people with instructions and options in case an active shooter was to ever open fire on campus.

Penn State Tops Big Ten In Football Revenue

According to a report from Forbes that came out Monday, Penn State created the most revenue through its football program than any other team in the Big Ten this past season. What may be more impressive is that the Nittany Lions trailed only Georgia and Alabama in revenues and profits when the Big Ten and Southeastern Conference were compared to each other.

Community Manager: How Should We Cover State Patty’s Day?

From reading the comments, though, it became clear (if it wasn't already clear) that there's a large rift in the State College community between the students who just want to have a day of drunken fun and the residents who don't want the town or themselves to be needlessly disturbed. I think it's important that we have an open, intelligent dialog about the issue, which is why I'm asking the following question:

What do you think should be done (if anything) about State Patty's Day, and how should Onward State be covering it?
