Post-THON Dancer Playlist

This weekend, music played a huge role in keeping the 708 dancers energized and motivated to continue bumpin’ and shakin’ FTK.  Instead of picking out a few good songs you could add to your pre-State Patty’s mixes, but have no fear, we’ll make sure you have a play list for that later in the week.  Since music played such a big part of the THON weekend, we thought that we’d let some of the dedicated dancers pick their favorite songs that kept them going throughout the weekend.

1. Adam Brous/Delta Kappa Epsilon

Music Pick: Free-“All Right Now”

2.Jaimie Gennaro/Sigma Alpha

Music Pick: Ke$ha-“We R Who We R”

3. Lauren Kohl/The College of Earth and Mineral Science

Music Pick: Rascal Flatts-“My Wish”

4. Kristin Piazza/CCSG

Music Pick: David Guetta-“When Love Takes Over”

5. Mark Jesse/Alpha Kappa Lambda

Music Pick: Cali Swag District-“Teach Me How to Dougie”

6. Ory Pratt/Alpha Zeta

Music Pick: K’naan-“Wavin’ Flag”

7. Christian Parra/Society of Hispanic Professionals

Music Pick: Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina-“Stereo Love”

8. Dani Toney/Student Athlete Advisory Board

Music Pick: Usher-“More”

9. Molly Garraway/Sapphire Leadership Program

Music Pick: Major Lazer-“Pon De Floor”

10. Daniel Cohen/Penn State Filipino Association

Music Pick: Wiz Khalifa-“Black & Yellow”

All the dancers are an inspiration to Penn State students. Everyone was marching to the beat of their own drum this weekend but all for the same cause. If these songs are what kept the going for 46 hours, then maybe some of them are good enough to put on a post-THON play list.
