Starbucks to Replace Peet’s at Campus Coffee Shops

We’ve got news for all you caffeine-lovers: Next fall, Starbucks coffee will replace Peet’s Coffee at a number of locations on campus.

Negotiations about the grinds are currently ongoing with Penn State Campus Dining and Catering services. Once the specifics are outlined, we’ll know more about where we can find our new favorite coffee hot-spots.

This may not seem like a big deal, but is definitely a good change for those who like Starbucks more than Peet’s. Will this be an improvement or not? Starbucks definitely has some of the best coffee, but also some of the highest prices. Could this pass on to us? We’ll see next fall when we’re sipping on our caramel macchiatos, trying to escape the Happy Valley winter.
