Grad School Fair This Week at the HUB

Looking to continue your graduate studies somewhere other than Penn State? The 2011 Graduate and Professional School Week begins today at Alumni Hall, with law schools, medical schools, and graduate programs all showcasing their prospective programs throughout the week.

  • Law Schools: 11-2 p.m., Today, Alumni Hall: No registration is required for Day 1 of the event, just have your student ID card ready at the door and dress like Jack McCoy, without the bow tie. Admissions individuals from 67 different schools will be in attendance, including representatives from Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law.  In addition to the fair, head over to the Admissions Panel of Law School Reps from 2-3 p.m. in the 129 ABC room inside the HUB.
  • Medical Schools and Health Related Schools, 11-2 p.m., October 19, Alumni Hall: No, Gregory House will not make an appearance, but representatives from 51 distinguished schools will be present for the event, which also does not require pre-registration. The medical schools will also offer an Admissions Panel, running 2-3 in the 129 ABC room.
  • Graduate Schools, 11-2 p.m., October 20, Alumni Hall: The Graduate School day wins the aware for cramming the most cardboard display boards in to one small room, as 117 graduate schools will send a representative for those seeking to continue their education as a graduate. Also, the third and final admissions panel will be held by Graduate Schools representatives from 2-3 in 129 ABC HUB.
After the Fair
Once you listen to representatives and admissions officers, you can begin planning the application by attending multiple free practice tests or prep courses.
