Onward Debate: Paterno Field At Beaver Stadium A Deserving Tribute

It's a no-brainer. When you think Penn State, you think Joe Paterno. When you think college football, you think Joe Paterno. And most importantly, when you think Beaver Stadium, you think Joe Paterno. The House That Joe Built. The venue at which a young Brooklyn boy started his career, and a venue at which a State College legend ended his career.

Penn State separates its football program from all other college football teams through one thing: tradition. Tradition has defined our football culture for years, and whenever someone threatens the status quo, the fans push back. If fans are truly passionate about the traditions of Nittany Lions football, then they must not change the name of their arena. Beaver Stadium should not include Paterno Field.

A Unanimous Day for the UPUA

Last night, the start of election season was evident at the UPUA general assembly meeting. The average non-media student crowd of two duodecupled as many candidates and their campaign staff filed in to 302 HUB to watch the wheels of democracy in motion. In fact, there was barely an empty seat in the house, as the Sixth Assembly of the UPUA winds down into its final weeks.

Will Martin Named THON 2013 Overall Chairperson

On February 19, cards revealing $10,686,924.83 sent joy through the Bryce Jordan Center and signaled the end of THON Weekend 2012. And now three and a half weeks later, the Overall Chairperson for THON 2013 was been named. Shortly after midnight, THON adviser Barry Bram announced on his Twitter account that Will Martin will assume the role that Elaine Tanella held for THON 2012.

Lennartz/Mullen Ticket Unveils Eleven Page Platform
