
Thirteen of sixteen jurors (twelve, plus four alternates) are now seated for the upcoming Jerry Sandusky trial.

Earlier this week, Judge John Cleland ruled that the media would no longer be able to Tweet or transmit data from the courtroom during the Jerry Sandusky legal proceedings. This is an infringement on democracy, and one that will hurt society as a whole.

Penn State lefty Joe Kurrasch was selected by the San Francisco Giants in the eighth round (268th overall) of the Major League Baseball First Year Player draft on Tuesday. Kurrasch, a native of San Juan Capistrano, California, is coming off a fantastic first season as a Nittany Lion. He went 4-2 with a 2.05 ERA in 16 appearances, including 11 starts.

The pre-trial proceedings in the Jerry Sandusky case haven't yet come to a close, with jury selection set to wrap up tomorrow, but the first major piece of evidence that will come from the prosecution on Monday has leaked. ABC News reported early this evening that Sandusky allegedly sent "creepy" love letters to his victims. Letters sent to Victim 4 will be read into testimony when the trial gets underway on Monday.
