Aspiring Army Officer’s Dream Shattered After Riot

Justin Strine wanted to carry on his family's legacy in the military. To do so, he joined the Penn State Army ROTC. After making one big, bad decision to participate in the November Riots, his dreams of being an officer came crashing down.

Terms of Penn State’s Athletic Integrity Agreement Announced

Details are beginning to emerge regarding the Athletics Integrity Agreement that Penn State was required to enter into as part of the NCAA sanctions. First, former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell was appointed by the NCAA to serve as Penn State's integrity monitor for the next five years while the athletic department is on probation. Yesterday, terms of the agreement were posted on the progress.psu.edu website.

Levels Gets Political With Barack Obama Night

In a first of it's kind event in State College, tonight, Levels Nightclub has decided to host a "Students for Barack Obama" night. While the event is not an official Obama for America campaign event, but rather the "Students for Barack Obama," the purpose of such events is simple; Reengage the student-age voters who were successfully mobilized during Barack Obama's 2008 presidential run.
