Victim 1 To Release Book, Interview With ABC

Victim 1, the 18-year old whose allegations of sexual abuse sparked the investigation of Jerry Sandusky that eventually led to his conviction, will be releasing a book, according to his attorney Michael Boni.

There are no details on what the book will specifically be about, though it is assumed that it will be a “tell all book” including the victim’s account of his interactions with Sandusky as a child. It will be released at a date to be determined this fall.

Boni also announced that the victim, who is still unnamed, will be participating in an interview with ABC at some point in the future. It is unclear when the interview will air.

Victim 1 first reported Sandusky’s abuse to his high school and the Clinton Country child protective agency in November of 2009. Soon after, the investigation began that eventually led to criminal charges being filed against Sandusky last November.

Victim 1, who broke down on the stand when testifying against Sandusky, is currently suing Penn State, as are a number of other victims that testified during Sanudsky’s trial.
