Spontaneous Detroit Music Party

Last night around 10:30pm, spontaneously, a cacophony of drums and horns could be heard echoing from downtown State College. No, it wasn’t a homecoming 2012 event, but rather a completely random musical jam by The Detroit Party Marching Band, a travelling party band on their way to Honkfest 2012 in Massachusetts that starts tonight.

After entertaining the crowd that had collected under the Allen Street Grill overhang, the band decided to move on and barge into Pickles. I captured some video of their jam inside the bar.
