Tim Frazier Voted Top 100 College Basketball Player

Each year, CBS Sports releases their Top 100 Preseason College Basketball Players. This year, Tim Frazier is #54.

The 6’1” Point Guard from Houston, Texas has been a solid part of the Penn State basketball program since his freshman year. He broke out of his shell during the Big Ten Tournament in 2011, and became a leader of the squad last season, having posted 17 20-point games.

Other notable Big Ten players on the list include Cody Zeller of Indiana at #1 (who the Nittany Lions will face on January 7th at the BJC), and Trey Burke of Michigan at #9 (who he’ll match up against on February 27th here in Happy Valley). Frazier was one of 12 Big Ten players, and one of 38 seniors to make the cut.

Frazier is known as one of the quickest players in the Big Ten Conference, and has been at the top tier of the division in assists, steals, and scoring. As a senior, he’ll have a huge role on the team this season.

In the words of CBS Sports, “Damn is Tim Frazier good. Like, really good.”
