Settlement Talks Underway With At Least 20 Sandusky Accusers

Penn State University has officially begun settlement talks with at least 20 of Jerry Sandusky's child abuse accusers, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The number of accusers in those talks means that there are more than the double the number of victims that testified during the highly publicized trial, which came to a close this past week when Sandusky was sentenced to a minimum of 30 years in prison.

Women’s Volleyball Wins Back-to-Back Matches

The Penn State Women's Volleyball team had a two game home stand against Big Ten teams Purdue and Indiana this weekend. After winning both, the Nittany Lions improved to 18-1 overall and 8-0 in the Big Ten.

Men’s Hockey Rebounds for First D-1 Victory

For the second time in less than twenty four hours, the Penn State Men's Hockey team found itself in overtime against American International College (1-1). This time, they would not let Friday night's last second loss repeat itself as freshman David Glen scored 38 seconds into overtime to give the Nittany Lions (1-1) a 4-3 victory at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
