THON announced today the first ever “Dance With Us” celebration, a globally coordinated line dance. The initiative is the first of its kind, and will take place THON weekend February 16th at 6:45pm. The goal is to have THON enthusiasts worldwide all perform a 30 second line dance at the same time. This will give everyone who is unable to be at the BJC THON weekend a chance to partake in the fun and awareness of THON weekend.

Next Wednesday, January 16, the Penn State chapter of Oxfam will co-host an Oxfam America Hunger Banquet® with two other student organizations, Food for Thought and Global Brigades. The event is an interactive hunger simulation that inspires people to action to fight hunger and poverty worldwide.
What was billed as a winnable game for Penn State turned into a blowout as the Northwestern Wildcats (10-6, 1-2 Big Ten) blew past the hapless Nittany Lions for the 70-54 win. The game was not even as “close” as the final score indicated.
Unfortunately for Penn State, no one knows what has happened to the man who stabbed a graduate student near Vairo Boulevard back on December 12. The man, who was described as 5'8" and Caucasian, stabbed the woman in the throat on a bike trail.
