THON “Dance With Us” Tutorial Released

THON’s newest initiative to gain global recognition through a 30-second line dance was officially released today. The tutorial lasts about six minutes and explains step-by-step how to do the dance while teaching the lyrics as well. A separate video shows the dance by itself so viewers can practice until they have it perfected for THON weekend.

THON is encouraging enthusiasts to send pictures or videos practicing the dance on their Facebook page here.

Here are the lyrics for the line dance:

For the kids everyday,
Hershey research paves the way.
Help to put an end to cancer,
Penn State THON is the answer.
Volunteers work all year long,
fight to keep our heroes strong.
15,000 Nittany Lions,
dancing for the Four Diamonds.
Courage, Honesty, Wisdom, Strength,
inspire us to go the length.
THON on,
all weekend long!
46 stand up tall,
for a cure we give our all.
Join us in the fight today,
Dance With Us, FTK!
