Men’s Hockey Conference Schedule Revealed

A new era of Penn State Hockey finally has a starting date, as the Big Ten Conference announced the dates of the 2013-2014 conference games on Wednesday morning.

The conference season kicks off in Wisconsin’s Kohl Center, the site of Penn State’s season ending overtime victory last year. The Nittany Lions will take on the Badgers on December 6 and 7. Other notable games include the home opening series against Minnesota on January 12 and 13 and a weekend series against the nine-time National Champion Michigan Wolverines.

Penn State took on three Big Ten opponents in 2012 and won at least one game against each in-conference foe. The team defeated Ohio State in the Three Rivers Classic, and split series at Michigan State and Wisconsin.

The Penn State ticket office also announced that season ticket deposits are still being accepted until May 24. A $25 deposit per seat is required to select your seats for the 2013 season. Student season tickets will go on sale in September.
