Illuminate Old State: Lion Ambassadors’ “Lantern Tours”

For a unique look into Penn State’s history, you can join the Lion Ambassadors for their annual “Lantern Tours,” which will take place on Friday, September 13th at Old Main from 7-9 p.m. The theme this year is “Illuminate Old State.”

The Lion Ambassadors, who you’ve probably seen on campus in their backwards-walking glory, will show students a slightly different facet of Penn State. Led by lantern light, the tour will delve into the university’s past and present. Rumor has it that you might even run into Andrew Carnegie or Old Coaly while you visit the Dear Old State of years past.

At “Lantern Tours,” students can also enjoy entertainment, food, and other fun at Old Main, where Penn State’s Juggling Club, Performing Magicians, and International Dance Ensemble will be showcasing their talents.
