[Video] In 2015, We’re Going to the Moon

In the next two years, Lunar Lion — Penn State’s mission to the moon — should become one of the most remarkable achievements Penn State has ever claimed.

Team leader Michael Paul spoke this afternoon at the Board of Trustees meeting, outlining the team’s plan to land an  unmanned spacecraft on the moon in 2015. Already, Penn State has developed an impressive team of engineers, signed an agreement with NASA, and conducted its first series of rocket tests in the race for the Google Lunar XPRIZE.
