Business Fraternity Rush Week Begins Thursday

Starting this Thursday (1/30), rush week for business fraternities will begin in earnest with the Business Fraternity Council (BFC) Mixer. All of the business fraternities the University has will be present at the event, enabling rushees to meet representatives from all of the fraternities in order to determine which one (or ones) they want to rush. The following week, each fraternity will have their private rush events (the dates of which are not publicized until the BFC mixer). Business fraternity rush traditionally occurs before Greek fraternity/sorority rush.

Penn State has five business fraternities, all of which are members of the BFC. They include: Alpha Kappa Psi, Delta Sigma Pi, Phi Gamma Nu, Phi Chi Theta, and Phi Beta Lambda. Each has their own unique takes on the same core concept of improving their members as professionals while building lasting friendships. All of the business fraternities, with the exception of Phi Chi Theta, accept students across all majors, not just business students.
