Floor Access Unavailable Until After Pep Rally

The BJC is filling up, but the line along the concourse level of the BJC to gain floor access is at maximum capacity.

Per Rules and Regulations Committee members, the initial ticket booths which offer receipts to give a fifteen minute time frame to enter the floor access line is not handing out receipts at the moment. In addition, those waiting in the floor access line will have to wait until after the pep rally to gain access to the event level.

“The floor is at maximum capacity and we can’t print out any more tickets until after the pep rally which is around 11 p.m.,” said a member of the Rules and Regulations Committee working at one of the currently closed ticket booths. She would not disclose her name.

Some students have waited seven and a half hours in the ticket booth line alone, and will now have to wait several more hours to finally step foot onto the event level.

We will keep you posted with more details.

You’re Not Embarrassing, You’re Just Fun: Yuka Narisako’s Senior Column

I’ve spent the last five years at Penn State, not because I failed a handful of classes, but because I chose my major somewhat blindly not realizing it was a five year program until after I submitted my application. Five years later, I’m about to get a bachelor’s, a master’s, and a minor over the course of one weekend.
