Gameday Coverage: Blue-White Spring Game

Good morning from sunny and warm State College, Pennsylvania where the Nittany Lions are set to take on, well, themselves in the annual Blue-White spring football game! James Franklin will be taking the Beaver Stadium sideline for the first time as Penn State’s head coach and the teams will feature a mix of familiar faces and early enrollee newcomers.

After Bill O’Brien decided to switch things up, pitting the offense versus the defense on the scoreboard for the previous spring game, this year’s Blue-White faceoff will feature the more traditional format in which the team is divided in two, with some offensive linemen playing for both sides because of depth.

Below is all of the media information and coverage for today’s game:

Kickoff: 1:30 p.m.

Television: Big Ten Network (at 6 p.m., not live)

Radio: Penn State Sports Network — Steve Jones, Jack Ham, and Loren Crispell (sideline reporter)

Weather: 70 degrees(!!!), partly cloudy, 10% chance of rain, 54% humidity

Media Coverage: @OnwardStSports and @OnwardState will have live tweets and Facebook updates throughout the game and writers Zach Berger (@theZachBerger) and Alex Robinson (@ARobinsonPSU) will be providing coverage from the booth. StateCollege.com reporter Ben Jones (@Ben_Jones88) will also be covering the matchup.
