The Best of #AskEmmert

NCAA President Mark Emmert did an interview this morning on ESPN’s Mike and Mike, where (as usual) he said a lot of dumb things. Even dumber, however, was the decision to have viewers take part in the interview as well. Emmert encouraged viewers to send him questions via Twitter using the #AskEmmert hashtag. Needless to say, it was just hilarious.

Here’s the best of #AskEmmert:

Technically, it was only 59%, but you get the idea.

Unfortunately for us, this might be the last time Emmert does an open interview like this, but it sure was fun while it lasted. Maybe he should hire a Penn State student to do his PR work next time?

Last but not least, the best take on the situation went to former Penn State LB Michael Mauti. While it didn’t have the #AskEmmert hashtag, it was still perfect.
