President’s Office Open House Scheduled for Friday

This year will be filled with firsts for Penn State’s 18th President, Eric Barron. For the first time since taking office, President Barron’s office doors will be open to the public.

The annual President’s Office Open House will take place this Friday, from 2:30 p.m to 4:30 p.m. Faculty, staff, students, and the public are welcome to tour President Barron’s office and visit the Old Main Bell Tower. Lion Ambassadors will give tours to visitors and light refreshments will be served. Visitors are also encouraged to view the frescoes that adorn the wall behind the main staircase.

Barron has been very open since taking the reins on May 12, but if you haven’t gotten a chance to meet him, this one is as good as any.
