Susan Corbett To Visit State College on October 29

Just in time for Election Day, Susan Corbett will be the guest of honor at the Centre County Republicans’ Chairman Luncheon at noon on Oct. 29 at the Toftrees Conference and Resort Center.

Susan met governor Tom in 1968 while attending Lebanon Valley College, marrying him four years later. During her time as First Lady, Corbett has focused on helping Pennsylvania’s education systems and maintaing the historical and cultural values of the commonwealth. Corbett’s built a reputation as a museum buff, serving on the boards of three, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She also serves as the Honorary Chair of the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition Annual Conference and the Girl Scouts’ 100th Anniversary Celebration.

It costs $100 to attend. With her husband trailing dreadfully in the polls, this should be one of her last appearances as a non-lame duck First Lady. Those interested should contact Deb Flavin at deb.flavin@centrecountygop.org or call 814-380-2715.
