Lion Ambassadors to Host Annual Lantern Tour

It’s Halloween! What could get you more in the mood than touring around campus under the stars with twinkling lanterns guiding you? The Lion Ambassadors will provide just that with a Penn State history twist for the community this evening.

The Lion Ambassadors will be host its annual Lantern Tours tonight, Oct. 31. The historical nighttime tours, starting at 6:30 p.m., take off from the steps of Old Main and lead the group through campus. The tour features prominent people from Penn State’s past and present, giving you a glimpse into the life of a Penn Stater ranging from its founding in 1855 to present day.

While you wait for your tour to take off, food, music, and entertainment will be provided. Participants also have the opportunity to climb to the top of the Old Main bell tower. Think of all those Instagram possibilities.

The event is free and open to the public, so check it out if you have some time (families are welcome, too). Happy Halloween, Penn State!
