Downtown State College boast numerous college bars filled with loud music and cheap drinks. However, on the outskirts of town, students can find tranquility and great food at any hotel bar and restaurant.
Next Monday, Nov. 17 from 5-7 p.m., the Council on Engaged Scholarship will hold an Expo for interested students. The event, held in Heritage Hall of the HUB, includes “high energy ‘lightning’ presentations from current students,” resources with information on how to get involved, and advice from current students and staff.

The NCAA is getting in the email game this week, filing a motion for summary judgement (i.e. asking the court to rule in its favor sans trial based on the merits of the facts) based on the fact that Penn State willingly entered into the NCAA consent decree.
